All political ceremonies are the same. Hollow and empty rituals. But some impressionable people get moved by the emotional content. The same applies to other political holy days including ambedkar jayanthi, buddhist conversion and so on. Even social activists talking about justice and all their silly poems on that. Just empty and shallow.

That goes for all celebrations including mothers' day, valentines day etc etc... Its materialistic world, out there.
